David Lubar David Lubar

Last updated on: December 28, 2009

Author Jon Scieska used the words "weirdly wonderful" to describe David Lubar's Hidden Talents. Others say that Lubar's work is "offbeat," "creepy," "playful," and "full of surprises." Fellow author Bruce Coville believes that Lubar has a "delightfully wicked" imagination. David Lubar loves to write about fantastical creatures, such as zombies, werewolves, and giant slugs, but he also has tackled some serious real-life issues in his more recent novels and short stories. There's no doubt that David Lubar's thoughts are somewhat twisted, and much of his work is laugh-out-loud funny. Which is lucky for us, since in the world of books with so many serious themes and life issues, humor is always appreciated
